Land Rover "4x4 in Schools"

The "4x4 in Schools - Technology Challenge" is an international competition promoted by Jaguar Land Rover that defies groups of 3-6 youngsters, between 11-19 years old, to work together in order to design and build a 4-wheel-drive RC vehicle , according to a set of specifications.  

The car will be able to drive successfully along a track especially designed to simulate real of road situations through which common 4x4 cars have to go through. 

In the competition are evaluated competences such as engineering, verbal presentation, driving skills on track and on a trailer tow challenge.

Besides these challenges, the teams also have to develop a marketing area, to design and conceive/build the body shell of the car.
